Dance Instructors

For many years, Dev has been choreographing, performing and teaching country dancing all over Southern California. Being both a professional singer & dancer Dev loves to entertain and create a fun rapport with her class, as well as her one-on-one private lessons. Dev has also performed alongside country music stars such as Clay Walker, Ricky Van Shelton and Mark Chesnutt. She has also worked for major TV networks and performed live shows for: CBS "Hoedown" - The Ellen DeGeneres Show, NBC's "Baywatch" and Disney's "Toy Story" at The El Capitan Theater in Hollywood - to name a few. She brings both classic and new dances to the floor, so come out and boot-scoot with her on Wednesday and Friday Nights at 6:30pm and 7:15pm!

Kerry Kick has been the face of Line Dance Thursdays since it started here at THE RANCH! She brings with her a love of dance that goes back to age 4 and was developed with her BFA in Dance Choreography from UCI. She also performed in local OC musical theater and ran a dance studio in Atlanta, GA. Today, Kerry teaches Line Dance and Two-Step lessons here at THE RANCH! She loves finding and teaching new dances to contemporary country and pop music. When Kerry's not on the dance floor, you'll find her training for her next 10k and spending time with friends and family. If you see her, come up and say, "Hi"! She always looks forward to seeing new faces on the floor and helping everyone share her passion for dancing.

Shelly started her dancing career at the age of 8 with ballet lessons in Arroyo Grande, CA. She continued her dance training while attending Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, receiving a minor in dance and participating as a member of the college’s dance company. It wasn't until 2000, after visiting a friend near Nashville, Tennessee, that Shelly discovered her love for country music. In 2007, she reconnected with another friend who was taking Line Dance lessons. In that moment, Shelly decided to sign up for as many Line Dance lessons and Two-Step/Couples lessons that she could fit into her schedule. Shelly was able to combine her love for teaching dance and country music when she started getting requests to teach private lessons and was asked to substitute for her instructor. In 2008, Shelly co-choreographed a Line Dance called "Workin' for a Livin'" with her dance instructor and friend, Kimberly Gautney, who also teaches at THE RANCH! Shelly has a passion for helping others learn to dance and uses this passion to teach at THE RANCH on Saturdays at 6:30pm and 7:15pm!

For 22 years Kimberly has taught country dancing around Orange County! Most notably she used to teach at the Old Crazy Horse in Irvine Spectrum. You can find Kimberly teaching on Family Sundays at 4:30pm, 5:45pm and 7:00pm! Kimberly enjoys teaching Country dancing for all ages!
