Cellar Receiver

THE RANCH Restaurant, Saloon & Event Center is seeking a detail oriented and organized Cellar Receiver to support our Cellar Master in managing beverage inventory across our restaurant, saloon, and event center. This position is responsible for receiving, inspecting, organizing, and stocking all wine, beer, spirits, and nonalcoholic beverage deliveries while ensuring inventory accuracy and maintaining the highest standards of organization and quality.

The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in maintaining an accurate and efficient inventory system.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and stock all beverage deliveries for the wine cellar, restaurant bars, saloon bars, and event center.
  • Verify quantities, pack sizes, vintages, product quality, and pricing against invoices and bills of lading.
  • Report shortages, damaged products, or discrepancies to the Cellar Master and vendors promptly.
  • Assist the Cellar Master with beverage inventory organization, ordering, and inventory management.
  • Rotate inventory using FIFO (First In, First Out) practices.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and secure cellar and storage areas.
  • Deliver beverage products to designated storage locations and bar stations throughout the property.
  • Assist with weekly and monthly beverage inventory counts.
  • Maintain accurate receiving records and inventory documentation.
  • Safely operate carts, and other receiving equipment as needed.
  • Follow all company safety, sanitation, and alcohol handling procedures.
  • Perform other inventory and warehouse related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Previous warehouse, receiving, inventory control, or beverage industry experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with multiple departments.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently.
  • Ability to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.

Pay rate: $19.00 to $22.00 per hour. Pay may vary depending on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.
