Marketing Manager

THE RANCH is seeking a creative and experienced individual who is looking for an opportunity to build-on, develop, generate and execute the marketing, social media, and public and community relations plans for our one-of-a-kind establishment.

The Marketing Manager provides support across multiple channels for THE RANCH Restaurant, Saloon and Events Center, as well as general office duties. The Marketing Manager is responsible for overseeing a team of marketing professionals, relaying information between upper management and department employees regarding budgets and daily procedures, and oversees the implementation of marketing campaigns to promote business products and services.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute THE RANCH marketing programs and platforms to increase customer satisfaction, retention and referrals
  • Explore new and innovative ways to develop ongoing relationships with customers, generating strategies and programs with a focus on measurable results
  • Lead post-analysis of previous strategies, tactics, initiatives while collaborating with sales and management to ensure brand aligned execution and goal attainment
  • Manage the internal marketing calendar, ensure deliverables are executed on time and advising team members of due dates
  • Manage all digital directory/reputation management platforms including Google My Business, Yelp, TripAdvisor, and other listings to ensure accuracy and optimization, respond to reviews as warranted, and share results with management
  • Maintain positive and cooperative relations with General Manager, Culinary Team, the Management Team, and the owner: engaging in relevant meetings with the management team and owner to speak on our branding, analytics, and promotions, and provide analysis and recommendations based on those results
  • Maintaining the company's digital and social media profiles and presence, including Facebook, Instagram, email and website- creating, scheduling and promoting shareable content appropriate for each specific network
  • Maintain competitive analysis – restaurant and country music venue
  • Coordinate and manage site visits, photoshoots, community events, for marketing purposes
  • Lead all necessary adjustments to the website according to the company's needs and Web Accessibility Compliance
  • Writing and formatting press releases and secure placement
  • Organize photo galleries, press clippings, advertisements and other marketing materials
  • Leading and training Marketing staff
  • Work with other departments to execute any internal or external special event projects assigned, as well as produce and provide needed printed materials including promotional pieces
  • Securing placement in media for special events
  • Manage and maintain purchasing and design of limited number of retail items

Requirements:

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, or Public Relations
  • 5+ years' experience in marketing and communications
  • 3+ years' experience in a management role
  • Experience working in hospitality
  • Available to work occasional nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Available for urgencies outside of work hours
  • Experience with CMS systems, HTLM, marketing automation systems
  • Experience with Aloha and Avante a plus
  • Superb organization skills; deadline and schedule-oriented, yet able to flex with dynamically changing priorities
  • Expert knowledge of Social Media Marketing and Analytics (Instagram, Facebook, etc.)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and social photo and video production tools
  • Ability to strategize, present ideas, and execute consistent branding messaging
  • Demonstrated ability to be poised and effective during high-pressure situations; ability to anticipate issues and have (or quickly develop) contingency plans
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Proactive self-starter with attention to detail, and ability to delegate with follow-up
  • Team player who can effectively prioritize and manage a multifaceted project schedule
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Photography skills a plus

THE RANCH offers a competitive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401k with employer match, and paid time off.

Salary range: $90,000 to $105,000. Pay may vary depending on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.
